Cree Santa Gertrudis

Normandy is also a polled son of King from a female that raised 7 calves. He is more of an efficient type in frame but maintains thickness and muscle with an excellent sheath, large stones and quiet
temperament.

He is a trait leader for Scrotal size and offers potential for dynamic change in female fertility, without compromising growth and carcass.

To date 32 of his sons have sold to average $11,100 topping at $22,000 twice, for Normandy R108 (P) and Normandy R276 (P), selling to the Strathmore Stud, Blackall, and Mark Wilson, Banana
Station respectively.

CREE NEMESIS N240 (P)

The gentle giant Nemesis is another polled son of King and this time from a Ferrero cow. As you would
expect from combining 2 of the breeds leading performance sires his predictions are powerful. A trait leader for 200, and 600-Day Growth, Scrotal Size, and Retail Beef Yield.

Again, a sire capable of pushing Growth and Fertility simultaneously. Temperament is also a feature of Nemesis’ progeny.

19 of Nemesis’s sons have sold via auction, to average $11,000 with a top of $28,000 for Nemesis R050
(P) who sold to the Gyranda Stud.

CREE NORTHERLY N116 (P)

Northerly is a polled son of King out of an aged cow that had 9 calves. Selected primarily for his outstanding
phenotype and temperament, he established himself as a prominent sire with his first drop of calves.

He is a long bodied, deep, and heavy bull that weighed in at 1200kg before joining last year. With an ideal
sheath, large testicles, and breed leading growth and carcass data he is a highly regarded sire in our herd. He is a trait leader for 200,400 and 600 Day-Growth, Scrotal Size, and Carcase Weight.

He has an almost identical performance graph to Nemesis but has much lower $Indexes, which we believe is
due to his extreme milk ebv. Personally, we feel a bull that has the ability to combine these antagonistic traits
and increase Milk, Growth and Carcase whilst maintaining Fertility, should be extolled rather than penalised.
To date 41 sons have sold at auction to average $13,700 and top at $40,000 for Northerly R222 (PP), selling to
Pat and Stuart Leahy, Monto, and $32500 for Northerly S104(PP) that sold to Geoff & Meg Becker, Moura.

last season. As he has matured into a 1160 kg bull, he has had to be joined to older females these
past 2 years.

To date 22 sons have sold at the sale to average $13,000 topping at $26,000 for Ponga S012(PP)

CREE PAPALII P002(ET) (AI) (P) (PS)

Papalii is a product of one of our IVF programs by Warenda D696 (P), once again from a Ferrero cow.
He is moderate framed with length and thickness, a dark coated poll bull with a ton of breed character

He has desirable Growth predictions with small calves, then attaining high Growth through 600-Day
and Mature Cow, with early Puberty, high Carcase Weight and RBY.

While his performance is not as consistent across the traits as some of our other sires, he brings an
outside sire line, structural soundness, and faultless temperament, so used in the right circumstance
we feel he has plenty to offer.

So far 31 sons have sold through the ring to average $13,200, with a top of $35,000 for Papalii
S168(PP) selling to Russel and Sheryl Purvis, Waterford Grazing, Capella.

ROSEVALE NACHO N382 (P)

Nacho is a more efficient style of bull from a fertile Rosevale line, in that both Grand Dams have had
10 or more calves. He has interesting performance data in that even with average Growth, he attains
some of our highest $Indexes on the new scale due to high female Fertility traits. He is also a trait
leader for EMA and Puberty.

He has bred a consistent line of cattle and appears a very useful addition to our sire battery. To date
23 of his sons have sold to average $14,100 topping at $47,500 for Nacho S128(PP) that sold to
Bruce Russell and family’s Grassbrook Pty Ltd. NSW.

Represented by lots: 71,78.

ROSEVALE JACKAROO P316 (P)

Jackaroo was purchased at the 2018 Rosevale sale for use as a yearling heifer bull and has been used
exclusively for that up until last season, as maturity and good seasons have seen him become too
heavy for the role. As more data was collected his performance has evolved to see him mature into a
very useful package. He is currently a trait leader for 200 and 400-day Growth, Scrotal size and
Carcass Weight.

He is a very eye appealing bull as most Jackaroo’s are and displays some contrary traits in high growth with Jackaroo’s trademark high fats. Early Puberty is also a feature.

13 sons have sold through the ring to average $16,800, with a top of $54,000 for Jackaroo T042(PS)
to Greenup/Eidsvold Stud.

Carcase Weight, and EMA. Added to this is early Puberty and high fats providing a bull capable of
making rapid genetic change in Growth and Carcase without compromising Fertility.

another stellar offering this year. To date 22 sons have sold averaging $13,300, topping at $32,500

by the $Indexes. Again, a bull capable of making genetic advances across multiple traits
simultaneously.

ROSEVALE REVELATION R410 (PS)

Revelation was purchased at the 2021 Rosevale sale.

While he doesn’t deliver the same Growth as some of the other sires, he makes up for it with Fertility and Carcase attributes and being a trait leader for DTC is responsible for his high $Indexes.

phenotypic, structurally sound package. He performed well in his first season attaining a high pregnancy rate on first calf heifers and

ROSEVALE REVELATION R410(PS)

Revelation was purchased at the 2021Rosevale sale.

While he doesn’t deliver the same Growth as some of the other sires, he makes up for it with Fertility, for which he is a trait leader, and Carcass attributes. As the number of calves on the ground
is the highest driver of profitability in a beef herd, his DTC is responsible for the high $Indexes.

Represented by lots: 4,16,20,34,81.

YARRAWONGA SAM S906 (P)

performance to have an influence.

Represented by lots: 52,61,90.

CREE SIMMO S160(P)

Simo S160 (PS) was retained from the 2022 sale bulls as the highest Indexing bull we
bred for the year. The King and Ferrero combination of Growth while maintaining
Fertility is evident once again and provides plenty of options for the use of this bull.

His high IMF is also a feature. His first progeny sells this year and are a good demonstration of his future production capabilities.

Represented by lots: 29,40,62,74,86,89.

CREE TOBY T120 (PP)

Toby T120 (PP) was selected from last years drop of bulls as we find this balance of high growth and high fertility hard to find

in the bull market. Bulls like this can effect simultaneous change without a compromise. Being homozygous polled is also a bonus

CREE ULTIMATE U206 (PP)

Ultimate U206 (PP) is another homozygous polled bull by Normandy and demonstrates a similar graph to Toby.

High Growth coupled with high fertility, but with the ability to lay down fat. He covers the profit driving traits without
